Overall a very good experience. Initially, we dealt with _____ ______ and we were very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge and it was her that actually swayed us to sign with Aveling. She was very patient and attentive with all our queries and changes. We then found the pre-start meeting rather difficult and overwhelming because we felt there were not enough opportunities to see the options available along side the costings so that an informed decision could be made. Also, having the pre-start meeting and the electrical meeting all in one day was too much. The building process itself was quick and with a high level of quality with very few delays or problems. The only area of improvement may have been if any potential design flaws were brought to our attention during the planning phase. Towards the end of the building process we had a look through the house and noticed a major issue with the way the pantry had been designed. We realize it was due to a design that we had requested, however it was not workable and we feel it should have been picked up by the design consultant and mentioned to us. Our meetings with ____ during our final days of inspection have been excellent with a very high level of professionalism – he has been very helpful and he has given us advise on many areas in regards to the finishings that we would not have thought about had it not been mentioned. A definite recommendation to friends and family
